Canonical Cursor AI School product site is school.differentthandefault.com (school-site/ tree). Apex /school/* stays as legacy pages (shared links), unchanged for now. DTD landing/portfolio CTAs stay on /school. Do not duplicate testimonials with placeholders. School blog is school.…/blog (static HTML + posts.json), separate from DTD /blog. Future cursoraischool.com 301s here later.
Status: Accepted (workshop sales funnel is a separate path — see ADR-042)
Context: School grew into many one-pagers on apex; needed a real online-school surface (offerings hub, course detail, apply, brochure, blog) without breaking existing shared /school URLs.
Decision: Host full school on school. subdomain with flat paths (/, /founder, /individual, /institutions, /partner, /apply, /brochure, /blog). Reuse /api/school-apply and /api/school-apply-founder. DTD family design, school-site layout. No testimonials until real quotes exist.
Consequences: Vercel domain + Hostinger CNAME for school required before public DNS works. Sitemap includes school subdomain URLs. Agents edit school-site/ for the product site; school/ only when changing legacy apex pages.
