Bubu Joy · For parents
Why this game at this age
Built for roughly 12–24 months — when babies love cause-and-effect, sounds, and doing something “on the big screen” while a parent works nearby.
What it can help with
- Cause and effect — “I touch → something happens.” That loop is how toddlers learn.
- Fine motor — tapping, trackpad clicks, or key presses with your help.
- Joint attention — you play together for a short burst; they are not meant to use it alone for long.
- Early sounds — optional Maa-Baa pack mirrors babbling many Indian toddlers are doing around this age.
- Turn-taking with you — you hold mute, switch packs, or stop when they are done.
How we keep it calm (not overstimulating)
- No ads, no levels, no scores, no “game over” — nothing pushing them to keep going.
- Soft pastel background; pops fade out quickly instead of stacking chaos on screen.
- Mute toggle always visible for you — default is sound on, but you can silence instantly.
- No autoplay video, no flashing rewards, no notification prompts.
- Each tap is one short response — not an endless loop unless they (or you) hold a key on purpose.
- No account, no data collection on these pages — just a static page in the browser.
About screens at this age
Paediatric guidance generally says: under 2, avoid solo screen time; if you use screens, keep them short, calm, and together with a caregiver. We agree with that caution.
Bubu Joy is not a substitute for play, people, or movement. It is a brief, shared tool — a few minutes while you finish an email, not a long session or a babysitter.
When your child looks away, fusses, or loses interest, that is the right time to stop. There is no progress to lose.
Our stance: Screens with caution, not long exposure. These games are designed for co-play and quick exit — not to maximise time on device.
